On October 15, 2015 the Neighborhood Heritage and Sustainability project co-sponsored (along with Safe Streets, Binghamton PTA Council, Binghamton City School District, and J & K Plumbing and Heating) a fall festival at Walnut Street Park for children from the neighborhood and across the city. Students from Binghamton University organized events while those from Binghamton High School provided the music.
